PIXTON

Hello again!

In this post, I am going to introduce Pixton to you. Pixton is a web 2.0 tool where students and teachers can create avatars and comics. It can be used in explaining a concept or idea in a funny and didactic way. It is free for individual accounts. It is given a speech and text bubbles to be filled as you please. From eye movements to hair color you can reshape and reposition them. You can look at a glance at mine from here before making a brief introduction.

As a teacher, you need to create a group and give a name.

And then, you need to choose a grade.

After determining a grade, you need to select how your students will join.

And now, you need to write student names.

And finally, In your "my classrooms" section you can see your classrooms.

When you look at the "my comics" section you can see your prepared comics.

And there are many options to enrich.

As your students join, their avatars will appear in your classroom.
