This post's topic is Moodle. What is Moodle? What it provides? What are the benefits of the Moodle? I will talk a little bit according to the article that I've read.
This study has two aims; the first one is determining the comprehension of students from various departments and how Moodle is applied in these faculties. The second one is to know if students are aware of this application and how this application adapted to learning. Moodle is used as a source of learning and assessment tool.

The investigation is made by a questionnaire applied by Google Drive.52 university students from different departments participated in the study. There was an equality between gender distribution so we can infer that girls are also interested in effective learning. The results of the study show that 18% of the respondents are not informed about that within the university. Besides, we can deduce that some faculties do not impose the use of a virtual environment in the learning phase. 

On the basis of constructivist pedagogy, a new learning framework is constituted. Moodle is composed of modules that's why it has a simple interface. In any computer that is connected to the internet can use Moodle easily. Thanks to its virtual learning environment, it is possible to be accessed to the platform as synchronized or non-synchronized. According to the article, Moodle has two roles. The first one is providing content management as synchronized and non-synchronized collaboration and the second one is managing the courses and the students that applied for these courses. Apart from other services, it has a wide range of useful purposes such as chat, forum, message system, wiki space, etc (you can find their working principles in detail in the article).

When we look at the advantages, we can deduce that it gives more opportunity to socializing and communicating. There are some spaces for courses, seminars, etc. and also online assessment system provides assessment tools. Availability, collaboration, direct contact, and online assessment options are the answers to why we should use Moodle.
