Hello everyone!
This time, I am back with Kahoot!
In today's world, children hot on technology so teachers have to know technological tools to deal with students. As a preservice teacher, I would like to give lectures in a positive and peaceful environment. Thus, pursuing both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation is crucial not only for students but also for teachers. And when we look at the children's cognitive and physical development, we can understand that play has a powerful effect on children. Play is the primary way of learning because before the school years, children already met with play and while they are playing, they learn naturally and use their all senses to solve a problem. The brain develops with stimulation and play provides some of that stimulation at every age. The play has a role in language learning as well. Learning a new language requires a great deal of effort and time and during this process, game and educational games support and facilitate their effort towards learning.

Kahoot is a web 2.0 product that calls attention to its design and competitive environment.
Kahoot is an application that can work on mobile phones, tablets, and computers. It makes the evaluation process easier and more enjoyable. Even if Kahoot is a quiz, integration of the technology makes it different from ordinary quizzes. Teachers prepare questions for their students and students enter their nicknames with the game pin. Being able to use nicknames creates an anonymous environment that students feel quite relaxed, less stressful and more confident. The teacher starts the game and students get points in the ratio of correct answers and the time that they answered the questions. According to their points, they are ranked. The ranking determines the top three.
